The Girls Junior Varsity Soccer team enjoyed a great season of personal and team growth in 2024.

With only a handful of wins for the season, it did not go as well as hoped in terms of win-loss records.

But the season began with a mix of experienced returning players, players who had not played for several years, and players with no experience at all.

In that time, under the guidance of veteran leaders like S. Maurice ’26, H. Watson, ’26, A. Rodriguez, ’27, and A. Healy ’26, they grew into their positions and learned how to operate as a unit. And if there was one thing not lacking this year it was team spirit. The members of the team always had each other’s back, always cheered each other along, and always selflessly answered the call. And from that standpoint, the season was a major success.

As we head into next season, the team will be graduating a number of members to the 25-26 Varsity squad, with a number of players who have come along so far that they could well see themselves called up as well.
