Marianapolis Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse is gearing up for another great season.  Coming off a successful 2022 season, the Knights are ready to take the field and continue the momentum into this season as well.

Seniors C. Vigneault 23’, E. Russell 23’ and junior L. Belsito 24’ lead the team this year as Captains and bring with them years of experience as Golden Knights. C. Vigneault 23’, E. Russell 23’ and L. Belsito 24’ are excited to have a strong group returning players of underclassmen to support and round out the GVLax squad and look forward to helping our newest member, E. Clifford 26’, learn the game and become part of the legacy that is MPrep GVLax.

With a solid returning roster, the Knights hope to strengthen their play on the field this year and look forward to a rewarding season.  Emma Russell 23’ returns as our starting goalie having honed her skills in the net over the past three seasons, along with fellow class of 2023 players, Bridjet Duffy 23’,Caroline Vigneault 23’ and Camille Larson 23’ who look to strengthen both our defense and attack.  Juniors L. Brazeau 24’, S. Lavallee 24’, C. Bouchard 24’, T. McCabe 24’, B. McDonough 24’ and L. Belsito 24’ look to fill out and strengthen the midfield while returning sophomore, C. Diaz 24’ continues to improve on attack and hope to help newcomer E. Clifford 25’ learn to love the sport as much as she does.

 All in all, we hope to grow even more as a team in the 2023 season and to continue to live by our motto “Lax is Life” in all that we bring to the field and to athletics at MPrep. Go Knights!!
