Lacrosse - Girls' Varsity
Marianapolis GVLax had a very positive season filled with growth, laughter and positive energy. With only nine players on the roster the MPrep squad knew that it was going to be a grueling season. With returning players working to improve and players brand new to the sport learning the skills and rules of the game on a daily basis. This mix of players blended seamlessly and supported one another through every challenge. The effort and enthusiasm that they brought to the field on a daily basis was positive and uplifting. Each game was focused on what we could improve upon as a team and as individuals. We worked to keep our goals in mind and decided that we would have a fun season despite the numerical odds against us.
Although we did not record any wins, GVLax ended every game they played with balls on net and our goalie, junior Emma Clifford '26 had a fantastic stat of 100 saves for the season.
With seniors Caitlin Diaz '25 and Amy LaRochelle '25 as our only seniors, MPrep GVLax looks to work to build our roster for the 2026 season and continue the legacy of the sport and the team that laid the foundation for the lacrosse program, boys' and girls', at Marianapolis. Always remembering "Lax is life!" GO KNIGHTS!
