The Marianapolis Golden Knights entered the 2026 season in a new chapter for the program following one of the most successful years in team history. With a large graduating class from 2025, the team featured a younger roster and just one senior, Dillon Guibault, who played an important leadership role throughout the season.

Guibault helped set the tone both on and off the field, providing guidance and stability for a developing group. Junior captains Jacob Whiteley and Sam Hachigian also stepped into key leadership roles, helping guide the team through a season centered on growth, development, and building for the future.

Although the Golden Knights finished with a 1-9 overall record and a 1-9 league record, the season provided valuable experience for many younger players who were asked to take on new and expanded roles. Throughout the year, the team continued to focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and consistency while competing hard in every game.

Despite the challenges of a young roster, the Golden Knights remained committed and continued to improve as the season progressed. With strong leadership, a dedicated group of returning players, and valuable experience gained throughout the year, Marianapolis looks to build on this foundation and continue moving the program forward
