Basketball - Girls' Junior Varsity

Record: 6-3
League Record: 6-3

The Knights finished their season 8-6, but the ultimate success was found through individual and team improvements, relationships made, and the growth from the first day until the last whistle. The seniors, Bridget MacDonough, Megan Bokis, Wiktoria Potem, and Riley O’Connor provided tremendous leadership, skill, and work ethic that led our team to a successful season. Juniors Sophia DiPietro, Lauren Gingo, and Luisa Henao led by example, oftentimes being the ones diving on the floor for loose balls, being physical to get rebounds, and being extremely supportive of their teammates. Their leadership will certainly be an asset next year. Sophomores Tiana Chahine and Makenna O’Connor returned to the program as strong offensive players and tenacious on the defensive end. New to the program, Emma Martineau, Yashvi Swadia, Juliet Rodriguez, Amelie Rodriguez were all eager to learn, grow, and be a part of the strong culture that the girls’ basketball program has. The season was filled with laughter, hard work, learning, and LOTS of games of knockout. The seniors will certainly be missed, but the teamwork and work ethic of the team will help to make next season successful and fun.
