The Marianapolis Prep Golden Knights closed out the season with a 6–18 record, a mark that does not fully reflect the fight and resilience this group showed from November through the final buzzer of the winter. The Knights competed in tight battles all year long, losing seven games by a single possession, proving that despite the record, they were consistently within striking distance and never backed down from the challenge.

This team’s identity was built on toughness and perseverance. Game after game, the Knights showed the ability to respond to adversity, continuing to compete regardless of the score or circumstances. Their resilience defined the season and set a strong foundation for the program moving forward.

The Knights were led by a dynamic core of guards who carried the offensive load and filled the stat sheet in multiple ways. Ty G. ‘27 emerged as one of the team’s most complete players, averaging 13.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game, consistently impacting the game on both ends of the floor. Fellow junior Caiden S. ‘27 provided another major scoring presence, contributing 12.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game, while bringing energy and versatility to the lineup.

Senior leadership was anchored by Kody J. ‘26, who averaged 12.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game while serving as one of the team’s most reliable scoring threats throughout the season. His efforts were rewarded with a commitment to continue his basketball career at the collegiate level at Gordon College.

The Knights will also celebrate another senior moving on to play at the next level, as post graduate, Vincent D. ‘26 has committed to continue his basketball career at Thomas College. The program is proud to see both seniors take the next step in their academic and athletic journeys.

While the record may not show it, the 2025–26 Golden Knights demonstrated heart, growth, and a commitment to competing every night. With key contributors returning and a culture built on perseverance, the lessons from this season will serve as a foundation as Marianapolis Prep looks ahead to the future.
