Results Details

The Golden Knights defeated Class A opponent Loomis Chaffee 69-47. The Golden Knights did a great job of getting stops on defense and pushing the basketball in transition on offense to take a 15-8 lead after the first quarter. MPrep lost the second quarter,but they were able to maintain a 28-23 lead going into halftime.

 

Captain Bronagh Power-Cassidy helped spark a run for the Golden Knights in the third scoring 12 points in that quarter alone! The balanced scoring attack in the second half was the difference in the victory for the Golden Knights. Sydney Masciarelli scored 22 points, capturing her 1,000th career point with 3 minutes remaining in the game! Captain Rachel Ullstrom also scored 22 points, and captain Bronagh Power-Cassidy added 20 points.

 

The Golden Knights improved to 17-3, 5-1 in Class A! MPrep will host St. Andrews on Senior Day, Feb. 29th. at 3:00pm.
