The Golden Knight's 12 game win streak was snapped by Tabor Academy today 70-58. The Golden Knights struggled to make shots early in the game, and were trailing by as many as 12 points in the first half. Captains Rachel Ullstrom and Bronagh Power-Cassidy combined for 12 of the teams 14 second quarter points to cut the lead 26-22 going into halftime.
Rachell Ulstrom and Sydney Masciarelli scored all 17 points for the Golden Knights in the third quarter, but trailed Tabor 47-39 going into the fourth quarter. MPrep were unable to get stops down the stretch, resulting in another 20 point quarter for tabor. MPrep fell short 70-58.
Rachel Ullstrom led all scorers with 25 points, and a career high 7 3 pointers. Bronagh Power-Cassidy scored 13 points, and Sydney Masciarelli added 12. The Golden Knights improve to 12-3, 3-1 in Class A.
The Golden Knights host Cheshire Academy Saturday Feb. 15th.
