Down 50-46 to a well-coached and tough-minded group, the home team turned up the defensive intensity at just the right moment and got a huge corner three-pointer from Yash to cut the deficit to 50-49. Then, moments later, Yash made a difficult layup in the lane to put the Golden Knights ahead 54-53. After a defensive stop, Danny Moors '20 (15 points) made two clutch free throws to extend the lead to 56-53.
Ethan Gosper '20, Aidan Cook '20, Patrick Sabourin '20, and Connor Murray '20 demonstrated great senior leadership, each making crucial plays in the second half. Cook scored four points in his first start of the season and Murray had a season-high eight points, including the final bucket to seal the triumph.
