On Wednesday afternoon, Marianapolis hosted Class B stalwarts Kingswood Oxford. After some strong, back-and-forth contests over the past couple of years, these two programs came into the game with mutual respect and something to prove.

Right out of the gate, it was clear that the game would be hotly contested. Post-grad Aaron Nkrumah had the hot hand early, going 5 for 7 in the first half, including four threes. KO's inside presence was a bit too much to handle early, though, and they took a 29-27 lead into the break.

After intermission, junior Mike Levesque found his stroke, racking  up 10 of his 15 points for the night. Junior Charles Mukweva also dialed up the defensive  intensity, manufacturing several key stops, including a late game steal that put the Knights in position to come away with the win. Unfortunately, a last-second shot rimmed out, allowing KO to come away with the 56-55 win.

The Knights are now 4-7, with a 3-6 record in Class B.
