On Saturday afternoon, Marianapolis hosted Berkshire for the second time this year. The Knights were looking to end their recent skid, and Berkshire was looking for revenge, making for a heated rematch. For the first several minutes of the game, MPrep struggled to score. Eventually, Aaron Nkrumah and Charles Mukweva secured a few baskets to get the team started. However, Berkshire’s strong presence inside and at the line helped them to secure a 22-18 lead at the break.

 

In the second half, Michael Acquaah-Harrison and Kualim Johnson came alive, combining for 18 of the Knights’ 28 second-half points. Unfortunately, it was not enough against the balanced scoring and strength of Berkshire, who won 58-46.

 

The Knights are now 4-7, with a 3-6 record in Class B.
