The Knights won a nail-biting game against Pomfret School on Saturday 27-26. The Knights and the Griffins were evenly matched throughout the game and the halftime score was 11-12 in the away team's favor. Man of the Match was James Alves, who scored four points and worked tirelessly on the defense. Other notable performances came from Conor Allen, who had seventeen points and Yunpeng Brian Wang, who had four points and played strong defense throughout the game. Overall is was a hard fought match for the Knights. The team missed baskets that could have been easily made and found themselves in unnecessary foul trouble. But the team rebounded and pushed forward to victory in the end. The Knights look forward to hosting Beaver Country Day next Friday.
