Loss 63-52

The Knights travelled to St. Andrew's for an exciting and tough game. In the first half, the Knights struggled to take care of the ball, but with a strong defensive effort, they went into the break down 22-24. The Knights had a solid third quarter cutting the lead to 1 and with momentum on their side. The full court pressure that St. Andrew's put on in the 4th quarter was too much for the Knights to handle and they fell 52-63. Marianapolis was led by freshman Caroline Vigneault who had 14 points and played terrific full court defense. Freshman Lauren Lemire helped to control the post play and ended with 12 points. Freshman Jamie Calkins helped to run the offense at the point guard position and finished with 10 points. Ava Fabiano '23 also put in 8 points and had a solid game on the defensive end. The Knights have a quick turnaround with an 11:00 am game tomorrow as their first home game of the season.
