The Knights came together as a team to earn a win against MacDuffie at home on Saturday afternoon. It took the first few minutes of the game for the Knights to come together as a team and build a lead. Following the first quarter, the Knights focused on continuing a strong defensive front and an organized offense. They ended the game with a 55-5 win. During the first quarter Olivia Montione '23 facilitated several break aways and scored 13 of her 19 points. Maya Benway '21 and Elizabeth Walker '22 stepped up as centers and assisted with several rebounds and points within the paint. In the first quarter, Elizabeth contributed a key basket and Maya earned 6 points out of her total 12 points. The Knights continued to put points on the scoreboard through break aways and turnovers that led them into the last two quarters. Co-Captain Kyllie Miller '21 and Co-Captain Jasmine Creighton '21 contributed several points throughout the game and kept the ball moving. Morgan Polinski '21 and Olivia Duquette '22 each earned 4 points and helped facilitate inbounds plays throughout the game. Guard Kaeleigh Sullivan '23 contributed points and provided a strong defensive front that allowed for turnovers. Linh Nguyen '23 hustled on both sides of the court and stopped the ball on defense, allowing the Knights to continue to add points to the scoreboard. As a result of their hard work, teamwork and effort, the Knights earned their fourth win of the season. Great job, Knights!
