In the first half, the Knights were playing with tremendous energy, moving with a purpose that proved they had their early-season loss at Pomfret on their minds. Post-grad Aaron Nkrumah played like a madman in the first half, posting 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks before the break. He was all over the court, and his work helped to keep MPrep close; Pomfret went into the half up, 24-18. In the second, the visitors started to pull away. Post-grad Ali Abdel-Jalil went three-for-three after the half, trying to prop up the scoring, but it just wasn’t enough. The away team secured a 56-38 win. Marianapolis falls to 5-11, with a 4-10 record in Class B.
