Marianapolis varsity wrestling went 1-1 at a tri-meet on Wednesday at Lexington Christian Academy. The Golden Knights captured a 48-18 win over Maimonides after a tough 36-42 loss to LCA.
Every Knight notched a win on the day, whether by pin, decision or forfeit. Sophomore Szymon Mamro led the team with two pins. Senior captain Alex Stawiecki, junior captain Andre Looney, junior Brendan Donegan all had a single pin and freshman Lucas Rhoads went 6 minutes for a win.The Knights return to action on Saturday with a quad at Avon Old Farms.
