On a gorgeous autumn afternoon in the hills of Eastern Putnam, the Golden Knights were narrowly defeated by Portsmouth Abbey. Senior team captain Elena Spangle tied her match on the last hole. Sophomore Alex Litke defeated his opponent in 8. Pannawat Chauychoo, '20, also tied in his match. Our 4 and 5 men fought hard but lost their matches and there was also a tie at the 6. With the tiebreaker, the Golden Knights succumbed 5.5 to 3.5. But all in all, it was a wonderful day of golf with many individual moments to be proud of. The Knights look forward to playing Bancroft on October 25th.
