Volleyball - Girls' IIIs
The Knights took on Bancroft at home to start the week. In the first set, the Knights struggled to return hard serves and did not communicate as well as they needed to in order to play their game. The Knights allowed two serving streaks from Bancroft that quickly ended the set.
In the second set, the Knights fought their way back. Keeping Bancroft within 2 points for most of the set, the Knights had great serving, excellent volleys, and great communication. In the end, MPrep lost the set, but it wasn’t for a lack of effort. Every player was an integral member on the court. Seeing how well they could play together as a team, they were pumped going into the third set. Early in the third set the Knights took the lead and they never looked back. Throughout the entire game, each player made valuable plays.
This week IIIs Volleyball travels to Portsmouth Abbey on Wednesday and takes on Deerfield Academy at home on Saturday. The Knights are looking forward to playing some great volleyball this week.
