Loss 2-0

The Knights had their best showing for what was both their first home game and their parent and family weekend game on Saturday vs. Winchendon. The team worked as a unit to participate in great volleys, had their best serving streaks, and rallied against some great hits from the Winchendon offense.

In the first set, the Knights fought their way back from an 8-3 score to 13-11 by the end of the first rotation. Communication on the court and great serving from A. Leveille ‘21 and N. Nguyen ‘20, kept the Knights in the set. Every player on the court played great and had excellent touches.

In the second set, the Knights and Winchendon played excellent offense and defense keeping service points from mounting and the ball moving back and forth on the court. The Knights continued a high energy game and saw excellent touches from J. Trkova ‘20 and M. Landis ‘23.

Despite the loss, the Knights held their heads high and look forward to their next game at Portsmouth Abbey on Wed. Oct 23.
