Win 4-1

The Marianapolis JV boys' soccer team improved to 5-1-1 on the season with a 4-1 victory over Saint Thomas More. The Knights played well, and made the most of their offensive opportunities. The first goal of the game was a high-arching shot to the top left corner by midfielder Hugo Ndizeye '22. The goal was Ndizeye's first of the season and was assisted by sophomore Hayden Buzzell '22. The second goal was a rebounded save that freshman striker Jack Perveiler '23 snuck past the goalie. The Knights were up 2-0 at the half, and opened it up with a quick goal by Andre Looney '20. St. Thomas More scored quickly after that to make it 3-1; but the Knights were able to score one more goal when freshman Nathan Barnwell '23 scored his first goal of the season hustling to the back pipe to score a rebounded save. The Knights play next week against Barrington Christian Academy and hope to keep the win streak alive.
