Crew - Girls' Varsity
The Golden Knights' rowing team traveled to Lake Quinsigamond for the 10th Annual New England Championships. The warmer weather was a welcome relief from the chill of the past week. Our boats took advantage of the fair weather. Our girls' novice four had a great race, coming down the course with a time of 20:02.1. Next down was the boys' novice four. Their hard work over the last week paid off with their time of 18:20.6. After a short break to change the length of the course, the girls' first varsity boat set off and finished with a time of 20:00.2. Marianapolis' final boat of the day was the boys' first varsity. The addition of D. O'Connor '22 to the boat helped the boys race down with a time of 16:49.7. Most of the boats will have a break next weekend from racing while the girls' first varsity will be representing Marianapolis at the Head of the Charles, the largest regatta in the US and second-largest in the world.
