The Knights won at home against Rocky Hill on Friday 2-0. Nicholas Basley, "20, opened scoring ten minutes into the match off of a free kick taken by Colby Pion, '20, to put the Knights up 1-0. The Knights had several chances in the half, but could not put away a second. Jared O'Connor, '20 struck for the Knights in the second half to put the team up 2-0. Dan Twohig, '22, had the assist. Rocky Hill fought hard and challenged goalkeeper Ryan Martin, '20. Martin had nine saves during the game. Man of the Match was James Alves, '22, who played a strong game in the midfield and put in a strong performance. Other strong performances included seniors Ryan Barnwell, Lucas Yash, Colby Pion, Syhyoung Lee, and Connor Murray. Overall it was a strong team effort. The Knights look forward to hosting Cheshire Academy on Monday.
