Soccer - Boys' Junior Varsity
The Marianapolis boys' JV soccer team enjoyed a strong outing against Pomfret earning a 10-0 win. The boys went up 4-0 at the half and continued to play well throughout the game. Freshman striker Ben Bouchard played very well, with 3 goals and an assist. Junior captain Jake McCabe also had a strong game scoring two goals in the contest. Goals were also chipped in by junior striker Andre Looney, sophomore defender Hayden Buzzell, junior midfielder Sam Bouchard, freshman striker Tyler Whitely, and junior midfielder Torres Hyunh. The Knights played strong defense all game- Szymon Mamro '22, Andrew Raps '20, Nick Laflamme '22, and Joe DiPietro '23 all played well and limited Pomfret opportunities all game. The Knights look forward to their game against Barrington Christian Academy at home on Friday.
