The Knights lost Wednesday to Concord Academy 3-0 at home. Concord was a talented and well put together side who pressed the Knights defense throughout the first half. Senior goalkeeper Ryan Martin had five saves in the first half. Concord scored mid-half with a well-placed cross that beat the Knights' defense. It was 1-0 at the half. The Knights pushed forward in the second half and changed style and positions, but to no avail. Concord scored another goal with twenty-five left to play and would put the game out of reach with the final goal at five minutes to go. Martin had two saves in the second half. Colby Pion, '20, was Man of the Match for working hard in the backline and motivating the team in the second half. Aidan Cook, '20, Jared O'Connor, '20, and James Alves, '22, all had notable performances. The Knights will try to shake this one off as they host Dexter Southfield on Friday.
