On September 21st the Golden Knights competed in their first race of the season, the Canterbury Invitational hosted by the Canterbury School. The course is notoriously hilly and the weather was unseasonably hot.
In first for the girls' team and first overall was Sydney Masciarelli, '21, with a time of 17:07. In second for the girls' team was Rachel Ullstrom, '22, with a time of 24:00. In third for the team was Amy Wang, '23, followed in fourth by Maura Hoban '21 and in fifth by Jenin Ayyash '21. The girls' team placed 8th out of 19 teams.
