The Lady Knights traveled to Williston Northampton Wednesday and ran onto the field with a fiery spirit to push themselves and work as a team to prove what they are made of.vBy changing to a flat 5 defense, the Knights were able to hold a frustrated Williston offense to zero goals in the first half. Communication and aggressiveness to win balls improved throughout the game as the ladies were first in 50/50 situations and pressured Williston players, forcing turnovers. Halfway through the second half Williston scored an unfortunate goal, but that did not deter the Knights as they continued to push up the field and create a few opportunities on the Williston half of the field. The game ball went to Shay Cashman ‘23, who made over 20 saves, and Ari Howell ‘22, who played great on defense. Well done ladies!
