The Knights lost their first home game of the season against Suffield Academy on Wednesday, going down 4-0. The Knights held Suffield for the first twenty-five minutes until Suffield made a breakthrough. Two more Suffield goals were scored before the end of the half. The Knights rallied at the half, and several Knights had to come off the field due to knocks and other injuries. Gaps were filled and Knights had to fill in at new positions. Syhyoung Lee, '20, and Aidan Cook, '20, both kept a strong back line alongside James Alves, '22 and Man of the Match Colby Pion, '20. Pion defended the back line well and made several good tackles that kept a strong Suffield side at bay. Senior goalkeeper Ryan Martin tallied fifteen saves throughout the match and kept the Knights composed and together at all times. Overall it was a disappointing loss on a hot day against a talented side, but the Knights will keep their heads up and look forward to an away match this Saturday against Winchendon.
