Crew - Co-Ed Varsity
The Golden Knights had a good day on Thompson Dam. The boys’ rowing team raced against Eagle Hill School while the girls’ team raced both Eagle Hill and Westover School. The boy’s novice boat was the first to go down the lake. They won their duel against Eagle Hill with a time of 7:10. The girls varsity boat had previously found victory over Eagle Hill earlier in the season, but had been defeated by Westover. The Lady Knights continued their streak against Eagle Hill and found the inner strength to row the course five seconds faster than Westover, coming in first place with a time of 7:00.79. The boys’ varsity boat placed second in their race with a time of 6:02. The girls’ novice boat was the last to compete, also placing second with a time of 8:28.85. Overall, we had a good day with improving weather throughout. Many thanks to Eagle Hill and Westover for some great races! The Knights have the weekend to rest, and are looking forward to racing at Pingree School on Saturday, May 11. Go Knights!
