From New York and the South: Follow Interstate 91 north to the exit for Route 2 East. (Coming from the North, also exit at Route 2 East.) Proceed on Route 2 East to the Winchendon exit, at the junction of Route 202 North. Continue on Route 202 North and in the town of Winchendon bear right at the junction of Route 202 North and Route 12. Continue on Route 12 for a quarter mile and bear right onto Ash Street; take the first left (at The Winchendon School sign) to park in front of Ford Hall. Park in the space provided and enter the building and go to the reception desk.
MPrep girls' varsity tennis played their best match of the year but came up just short on the road at Winchendon. The Wapiti improve to 2-0 and the Knights fall to 0-3 on the season.
The Lady Knights found themselves down 2-4, but rallied, as #2 and #3 doubles battled for late, gutsy wins to tie the match 4-4. In the last match of the day, however, we dropped a thrilling 1st doubles match, 5-8.
Players with their first wins of the season included Michelle Zhou at #1 Singles and Kaylynn Nolan at #2 Singles as well as #2 and #3 Doubles teams Queeny Qu and Ashley Han and Linh Mai and Haipei Yang, respectively.
