Badminton - Co-Ed Varsity
The Knights suffered a tough loss against Winchendon on Senior Day. The boys’ singles, captain T. Tang ‘21 and Z. Gan ‘20, couldn’t catch a break with some tough competition from the Winchendon boys. Both boys had some promising kills and serving streaks but ultimately fell in a shut out. The boys' double had a tough time finding their groove. L. Pham ‘21 and T. Huynh ‘21 struggled with finding space on the court but still managed to keep the score close and push through the sets. The mixed double of Y. Fang ‘21 and H. Zhang ‘19 also played close matches with strong serving and defensive hits. For the girls' side, our only girls' single today, D. Luo ‘19 swept her sets and grabbed a “W”. J. Zhang ‘20 and L. Wei ‘20 stepped it up again this week in the girl’s doubles match and brought home the second “W” for our last home game. With a current record of 0-2, the Golden Knights are looking to pick up some momentum as we finish the rest of our season on the road against both MacDuffie and Winchendon, respectively. We would like to thank the seniors; captain Delan L., Ha L., Hongjiang S., Xuanlin W., Hehua X., Jin X., Honghao Z., and Tiange Z., for all their hard work and dedication so far this season!
