FROM HARTFORD: Take Route I-84 East to exit 69 (Willington). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Route 74. Follow Route 74 East until it ends at Route 44. Take Route 44 East to Pomfret. Rectory School will be on the left after you have passed Pomfret School.
FROM PROVIDENCE: Take Route I-95 North to Route 6. Take Route 6 West to Route I-395 North. Follow Route 395 to exit 93 (Dayville). At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Route 101. Follow Route 101 to the center of Pomfret at the intersection of Routes 101 and 169. Turn right onto Route 169. Rectory School is located approximately two miles on the left (just after you pass Pomfret School).

Tian "Crea" Feng '19 and Christian Terwilliger '22 won a tight match at second doubles to help Marianapolis claim its first victory of the season in an away match against The Rectory School at Pomfret, CT. Feng and Terwilliger, playing for the first time together all season, trailed 5-4 before rallying for an 8-6 triumph.
The Golden Knights (1-4 overall) played well in all six singles matches and came away with four wins for a 4-2 advantage heading into the doubles. Co-captain Gongcheng "Eason" Fu '19 got things started with a gritty 8-5 win at second singles. Slava Beliaev notched his first win of the year at fourth singles, sweeping the last four games to earn an impressive 8-6 result.
#1 singles player Shun-Yi "Brian" Chang '19 finally was rewarded for his strong play all season with an 8-6 win over a talented opponent. Hien "Tom" To earned his first-ever singles victory by an 8-5 margin at fifth singles.
Marianapolis goes on the road again to face St. Andrew's School Wednesday at 4:00 PM.
