What a special night for the Golden Knights. The Knights started off the game by celebrating seniors, Olivia Summiel, Chyna Bullen, Kara O’Neil, and Taylor McNamara.
The start of the game came to a quick halt as Senior, Olivia Summiel scored her 1000th career point! Olivia was recognized for this amazing accomplishment, and the Knights got back to the game.
The game went back and forth for the first 8 minutes, but a switch up in defensive pressure allowed the Knights to take a double digit lead heading into the half.
The Knights came out the second half with their foot on the gas. Big points by Seniors Olivia Summiel and Chyna Bullen allowed for the Knights to extend their lead!
The Knights carried the lead for the rest of the game, and it was a great 61-37 team win for Marianapolis. Senior, Olivia Summiel and Sophomore, Sydney Masciarelli led the Knights with 16 points each, and Chyna Bullen added 10 points!
