From Interstate 91: Take Exit 28A if you are traveling north, Exit 28 if you are traveling south, and follow Route 10 north for 2.8 miles. The Northfield Mount Hermon School entrance is on your right. Proceed up the drive following signs to the Admission Office. Visitor parking is beside Bolger House.
The Golden Knights were eager to get back on the court against NMH after the Christmas break. This game was a physical contest from start to finish. With the half time score 12-9 in favor of NMH. Being down only one possession the Knights were ready for a second half thriller. Both teams came out of the half time exchanging basket for basket and some good defense on behalf of both teams. Sydney Kennison came off the bench providing a spark to help the defense dig in and make stop defensive stops.
NMH had two key turnovers resulting in a Knights lead 22-20. The two teams went up and down the court with neither team pulling away from the other. Finally with 24 seconds left NMH took the lead 26-24. Coming off the Knights time out NMH played a tough zone defense and with 3 seconds left the Knights took a final shot which just fell short of a game winner. What an exciting finish in a nail bitter of a game!
The Golden Knights never gave up the entire game constantly competing on both sides of the ball. Well played game tonight Knights!
