Indoor Track and Field - Co-Ed Varsity
The Golden Knights of Marianapolis traveled to Tantasqua High School to compete in their first track meet of the season. On the girls side, senior captain Rahmat Obanikoro, sophomore Chiara Faiola and freshman Gabby Fung competed in their first ever hurdle race. They ran a strong race and will continue to strive for new PR's. Junior Eva Dellea and sophomore Isabella Gonzalez had a good showing in the shot put.
For the boys' team, senior Elijah Olacio ran a strong 55m dash with a time of 6.8 seconds. Sophomores Jacob McCabe and Tommy Joiner had a strong showing in both the 55m and the 300m races.
The Knights had a great first meet and are excited to get back to practice and work on things for their next meet which is Saturday at Governor's Academy.
