The Marianapolis swim program traveled to the northwest to go against the Eagle Hill school for a dual meet. The pool was filled with excitement throughout the meet as there were many close fights for first. Although the Knights fought valiantly, they fell with a score of 69 to Eagle Hill's 100.
The coaches are proud of the 10 members that broke personal records at this meet and would like to highlight a few. J. Crosby ‘20 continues to improve her 200 freestyle for the 3rd meet in a row with a new time of 3:01.12. A. Vandenbrouck ‘22 had a strong swim in the 100 freestyle with a new personal best, 1:16.20. Captain C. Ringer ‘19 continues to improve his 100 breaststroke time with a new goal set at 1: 26.09. He also showed strength in the 50 freestyle where he placed first with a time of 29.15.
The swimming Knights have had a great week, but it's not over yet. Tomorrow they look forward to swimming at Worcester, a traditionally strong adversary. Go Knights!
