Swimming - Co-Ed Varsity
The Golden Knights took on the Rectory School in a scrimmage at Hale YMCA in Putnam, CT for their first home competition. While there were many great swims, some notable performances were H. Cao '21 in the 100m Individual Medley, A. Robert '20 in the 50m Freestyle, G. McGovern '21 in the 50m Backstroke, and R. Barnwell '21 in the 100m Freestyle.
As always, the coaches are incredibly proud of the hard work the swimmers have been putting in, though practices at the start of this week saw some of the greatest leaps in progress this season, particularly to the team's newcomers. Great work! Certainly, a good part of the team's successes today was from the great fans that came out to support the Knights. The team was very grateful for the enthusiastic encouragement.
The Knights look forward to their meet against Thayer at the Racquet & Fitness Club in Scituate, MA on Saturday. Go Knights!
