JV Gold came out strong against Middlesex, taking a 10-4 lead early on! Strong digs by Calli Bibeau, '21, and Maggie Vo, '21, enabled the Golden Knights to battle throughout the entire first set. Middlesex’s tall net presence proved a little too strong, as they took the first set 25-21.
The second set got off to a slow start and the JV Gold team found themselves down 13-2 to start the second set. Strong serves by Kaite Baca, '22, and some big plays by Lily Alessandro, '20, allowed the Knights to climb back to trail just 23-20. Unfortunately, Middlesex came out on top of the second set 25-21, which led to the JV Gold team falling 2-0 for the day.
