From Connecticut: Take Route 6 East to Providence, I. Watch closely for signs for I-95 South. Almost immediately you will exit to the left onto I-195 East, Exit 20 (East Providence-Cape Cod). Take Exit 7-Route 114 South to Barrington. Go 5 miles to first traffic light. Turn right onto Federal Road. School is 1/8 mile on right.
The JV squad brings home another win! The Knights were almost unstoppable against St Andrew's scoring 5 goals to 1 for another victory.
Much of the first half was a stalemate with both teams holding strong resulting in much of the play at midfield. What seemed like an even match would soon be silenced by sophomore Alexandra Giorgio with a goal off a beautiful cross from freshmen, and sister, Ashley Giorgio to make it 1-0 at the half.
Both teams were hungry at the start of the second half and St. Andrew's answered quickly with a shot and score on net to tie it at 1-1. The Golden Knights would answer back and when they did they did so resoundingly, scoring 4 more in the second half and leaving the St Andrew's squad behind for good. Second half goals came from the freshmen power team of Gabby Fung, Sofia Rabitor, and Morgan Beaudreault and sophomore Melania Maruffo.
The Knights face off against The Abbey on Sat for their closing game of the season and are looking to add another win to the ledger.
