Volleyball - Girls' IIIs
After Halloween festivities and loads of candy, the Knights traveled to Worcester Academy for a game. During the first set, the team struggled to get their energy and voices high, which lead to difficulty keeping the ball in the air and returning volleys. After a timeout, the team was able to bring their attention back to the game and finished the set stronger, falling 25-9.
The second set saw the Knights take the court with much more focus. Teamwork and great saves abounded. S. Soares, ‘21, and N. Nguyen, ‘20, lead the Knights' offense with great serving. The Knights were excited to at last welcome freshman A. Waite to the court for a game. She made great plays and had high energy on and off the court! Worcester took the second set 25-18.
The third set saw more great plays from all freshman students who have made incredible progress since the beginning of the season. Especially of note, P. Booth, '22, had an excellent hit during the set. The third set score was 25-11. The Knights officially take the court 2 more times before the end of the season.
