Results Details

The Knights lost a disappointing game against Beaver Country Day. There were no goals for the Knights but several chances created by Nick Basley, ‘20, and Ethan Gosper, ‘20, on the front line. The defense held strong throughout the first half but one or two failed clearances allowed for Beaver to score two before the end of the first half. Ryan Martin, ‘21, performed well and had eight saves in the first half. The Knights continued to push forward and had a strong second half. John Vigliotti, ‘21, James Alves, ‘22, and Aidan Cook, ‘20, all gave strong performances in the midfield. But Beaver countered and scored a third goal ten minutes into the half. Another goal minutes later off of a mistake put Beaver up 4-0. The Knights had no chance but to go for goal with all their might, but no goals were to come. Ryan Martin made six more saves in the second half giving him fourteen for the day. Man of the Match was John Vigliotti who fought hard throughout the game.
