The Trinity Foundation Scholarship Exam will be held on Saturday, October 29th, 2022.
What Is The Trinity Foundation Scholarship Exam?
The Trinity Foundation Scholarship Exam is a middle school assessment that 9th grade day student applicants take as part of the Marianapolis application process during their 8th grade fall. This assessment consists of 5 multiple-choice sections that evaluate critical reading, writing, and math skills of the student.
This exam is not required. However, sitting for the Trinity Foundation Scholarship Exam is the requirement for 9th grade day student applicants to become eligible for consideration of a Trinity Foundation Scholarship.
When Should I Arrive And How Long Will The Assessment Take?
Plan to arrive at 8:00 a.m on October 29th. The exam will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. Students may not be seated after 8:20 a.m. The test will conclude at approximately 11:30 am. There are several breaks throughout the exam.
Is There Anything I Need To Do To Prepare?
Students do not need to study or prepare in any way. Just answer all of the questions to the best of your ability. It will also help if you get plenty of sleep the night before the test day.
What Should I Bring On Test Day?
Bring soft-lead No. 2 pencils. Calculators are not allowed. Students will be given scratch paper to complete their work.
What Should I Do If I Do Not Know An Answer?
You may encounter difficult questions that you do not know how to answer. If this happens, do not get discouraged. Try to work as quickly and efficiently as possible and come back to more difficult questions with the time that is remaining.
What If I Cannot Take The Exam On The Day That It Is Given?
If you cannot take the entrance exam on October 29th, please email the Admission Office or call (860) 923-9245. We will work with you on potential resolutions.
