Knights of the Week - 4/30/18

Zachary Atwood '20

JV Ultimate's Knight of the Week is Zack Atwood for his consistent positive attitude and leadership throughout the season so far. Zack has improved tremendously since last season and has been someone the coaches can rely on to support the newcomers to the sport.

William Engle '20

The Knight of the Week for JV baseball goes to captain William Engle for his dominant performance on the hill and leadership he provided for our first game of the season. Will battled against a tough Pomfret lineup, working hard to leave emotions out of it. His control on the mound and composure throughout allowed our boys to give their best effort for the entire duration of the ball game. Will showed the qualities that define a true leader. Keep it up Will! Let’s go Knights!

Maxwell Hayes '19

Junior Max Hayes is a strong leader on the Ultimate field who has worked to become more of a vocal leader. He always gives his maximum effort on defense and understands the intricacies of the offense. Max has devoted a lot of time outside of practice to put the repetitions in to become a better player, and this has not gone unnoticed by his coaches and peers.

Colby Jacobs '21

Freshman Colby Jacobs is a great addition to the varsity baseball team. As our starting catcher, Colby is always working hard at getting better at his position. Constantly looking to improve and putting the team's needs above all are just a few of Colby's strong points. His leadership behind the plate along with his calmness helps out our defense. Congratulations Colby on being named Knight of the Week.

Maria Jimena Solis Quintero '19

Jimena is rowing in her first ever season and works extremely hard and pushes herself each practice and race. She never shies away from a difficult workout or race and maintains a constantly positive attitude. She secured a spot on our first boat last week and has been a great addition to the lineup.
