Maura Hoban '21
The girls' cross country team had experienced veteran leaders, but also had fresh talent with the newcomers. Maura Hoban '21 was one of those hard working and determined rookies. Through injury, she pushed herself as well as her teammates to improve throughout the season. Her dedication and determination to get back running on the cross country trail allowed her to finish the season running in a strong final race. Her potential gives the coaches something to look forward to in the future. Maura's work ethic, positivity, and sportsmanship help to make her one of this week's "Knights of the Week"! Congratulations!
Alexandra Giorgio '21
Alexandra Giorgio! "Ally" (as we call her) was new to the girls' JV team this year as a freshman and really made her mark. She was new to soccer as a sport, but it was clear that she was not new to being a team player. She was always positive, able to take direction and coaching with a constant want to improve. Every time she went into a game she gave 100%. She was always there to cheer her teammates on and knew herself as a player and as a person. Ally had a great season and the girls' soccer program is excited about what the future holds for her. Congratulations on being named one of this week's "Knights of the Week"!
