Senior captain and coxswain, Olivia Duncan has been a program leader throughout the year. This past weekend, she appeared in her third Head of the Charles Regatta, the most appearances in this race by any Marianapolis athlete. Her preparation and meticulous attention to detail gave her confidence and poise in this year’s windy conditions, leading to our program’s best result yet in this storied race.
As a player new to the sport, Andie Lee '20 is willing to try new positions and to learn as much about field hockey as she can. Andie has developed into a strong field hockey player and has made some amazing defensive stops. She is always putting in the effort in games and in practices. Andie is looking for ways to better herself as an athlete. Her example serves as a positive model for her teammates.

Alyssa Leveille '21 has worked throughout the season to improve her skills and has helped her teammates improve as well. This hard work has demonstrably benefited her and her team. In the past two matches, she has had three service streaks which have helped win close sets. Her continued focus and determination will help her improve each day.

As a team captain, Shuri Okada '19 has made the effort to help her teammates and to work outside of practice to improve her game. When she steps on the court, it is clear that she will make a difference in the game. Her leadership makes her a great role model to her teammates and someone her coaches can count on.
