Bravo to our cast, crew, and directors for their hard work and dedication in putting on three incredible showings of The Internet Is Distract--OH LOOK A KITTEN!

This production is a comedic exploration of how easily people can get sidetracked while browsing the internet. The humor revolves around the all-too-familiar scenario of starting with a serious task, only to be lured away by cute distractions, like kittens. The comedy highlights the absurdity of our online habits, showcasing various funny interruptions—from viral videos to amusing memes—that pull us away from what we originally intended to do. The juxtaposition of important tasks versus the irresistible charm of kittens serves as a parody of modern-day procrastination, capturing the relatable struggle of maintaining focus in a hyper-connected world.

In the words of Mr. DiCicco, “It was one of my favorite shows I have ever seen here at Marianapolis! I could not stop talking about this show!” 

Our Marianapolis community thoroughly enjoyed all the moments of laughter in each scene of the production and the dynamic nature of this show. Congratulations to all on a spectacular performance! We can’t wait to hopefully witness production 2.0 in the future!
