The Knightly News on WINY - October 21

Marianapolis x Pomfret Community School! This week, we highlighted a fun crossover project in our local community that involved our international students! Thank you to Mrs. Sarah Healey, her daughter Maddy, and boarding students Fernanda C. ’27 from Mexico and Daniela D. ’27 from Spain, for going live on the airwaves to discuss this exciting project, their cultures, and their journey to Marianapolis.
 

Maddy recently had a school project that invited Spanish-speaking students to visit her and her classmates. Six of our MPrep students from Mexico were able to attend, and topics of conversation included ways of life, language, food, history, traditions, and more! Maddy and her classmates thoroughly enjoyed this experience, and our students look forward to more partnerships in the future to educate others and share their stories.
