The Knightly News on WINY - May 7
The time has come for our Class of 2024 to make the most of their remaining time at Marianapolis. We can’t believe they will be graduating in less than a month!
Thank you to Mrs. Kendra Sumner, Senior and Postgraduate Class Dean and Performing Arts Department Chair, and students B. Forgues ‘24, O. Kowalski ‘24, H. Stanwood ‘24, and S. Torrado Rubio ‘24, for going live on the airwaves to highlight senior year, involvement in the dance program, their outstanding achievements, why they have enjoyed participating in dance during their time at Marianapolis, and plans after graduation!
The spring dance show, “I Lived,” is not just a performance; it's a celebration of our entire Marianapolis community. It will take place on Friday, May 17, at 7 p.m. Attendance is free of charge and open to all. Mrs. Sumner is proud to share that just under one hundred dancers will perform, including eighty beginner dancers and thirty-two seniors.
This show's theme is a testament to how our students have embraced every moment this year. They have given their all in class, on the sports team, and to the Marianapolis community. This theme profoundly resonates with our seniors and post-graduates as they reflect on their time at Marianapolis and how much they experienced while here. We invite you all to be a part of this celebration on May 17. See you there!
