The Knightly News on WINY - March 31
This week on The Knightly News, we are highlighting our Centers of Excellence (COE) program! In this signature program, students engage in specialized studies while acquiring practical skills and real-world insights. As freshmen, students rotate through four Centers to help them discover their passions. During their sophomore year, they begin taking a series of classes focused on their area of interest.

The Centers include the Center for Social Justice, the Center for Innovation, the Mark R. Russell ’67 Center for Business & Entrepreneurship, and the Center for Health Science. Each Center offers a uniquely curated curriculum, a three-week supervised internship, a senior capstone project, and other core requirements.

Thank you to Mrs. Karen Tata, Centers of Excellence Director, and COE students Sienna S. ’26, Sophia W. ’27, Izzy G. ’28, and Mya M. ’28, for sharing their enthusiasm for our signature program and the journey so far in their chosen Center! They also discussed the fields they would like to pursue in college and beyond. The Centers of Excellence empower our students to stand out in the college admissions process and encourage them to pursue their passions with purpose and distinction.
