Marianapolis reminisces on their travel abroad adventures in Greece! Thank you to our trip advisor and history scholar, Abe Gustavson, our school nurse and one of our trip chaperones, Courtney Farber, and student travelers G. Baldaro ‘24, D. Lavallee ‘24, and A. Roszkowski ‘24 for sharing all their wonderful memories, moments, and experiences while abroad!

According to Mr. Abe Gustavson, “Travel illuminates the soul.” Students and faculty immersed themselves in Greek culture's deep history and wisdom. From visiting the Acropolis to racing at the Olympic Stadium, they made the most of every moment. They returned home with an appreciation and understanding of what makes Greece a remarkable country.

One of Baldaro’s favorite moments abroad was visiting the Temple of Poseidon. Lavallee enjoyed exploring Olympia, and Roszkowski loved taking in all the wonders of the island of Hydra.

Roszkowski encourages other students contemplating traveling abroad to take the leap and step out of their comfort zone. It’s worth it, especially at Marianapolis, where fun trips are planned yearly!
