The Knightly News on WINY - February 4
Our 3rd annual MPrep Fire & Ice Festival is just three days away! Thank you to Student Council Advisor Tommy DiColella, President Vincent V. ‘25, and Vice President Shane M. ‘25 for sharing what the Student Council aims to accomplish throughout the school year and the exciting activities that will be taking place during the Fire & Ice Festival this weekend!
When Vincent was asked why he decided to get involved in Student Council, he said, “I was inspired by the past presidents of how they were able to make my years better as a student.”
Shane became interested in Student Council because he “want[ed] to help enrich the community, help make a difference, plan these events, and give everyone a good experience while at school.”
Being a member of the Student Council is an excellent opportunity to engage in leadership at MPrep. Students are empowered to positively impact our community and grow as individuals.
Our MPrep Fire & Ice Festival on campus kicks off this Friday, February 7, and will feature a signature ice sculpture perfect for photo ops, karaoke, a s’mores bar outside by the bonfire, ping-pong, and more! The fun will continue on Saturday, February 8, with our participation in the Putnam Fire & Ice Festival. Our semi-formal dance will take place on Saturday, February 15.
This is a wonderful time for our community to come together and enjoy all the winter festivities during Spirit Week!
