Juliette Golden '20 Signs NLI with Bryant University
Juliette Golden, a senior from Millville, Massachusetts, signed her National Letter of Intent to play basketball for Bryant University on Wednesday.
This will be Golden’s third season playing for the Marianapolis Golden Knights. Last season, she was part of the team that captured the NEPSAC Class A Championship. She normally plays the 4 or 5 position.
On signing with Bryant, Golden said, “I decided to commit to Bryant because of the amazing staff and team chemistry. I am excited to see my role on the team and help the team as much as possible.” This season, Golden will serve as a captain of the varsity team. She also served as a captain on the varsity volleyball team this fall.
“Bryant plays in a competitive Division I conference, and I have no doubt that Juliette will rise to the challenge, and have a successful collegiate career,” said Marianapolis girls’ varsity basketball head coach Kirsty Leedham. “She is returning this season in a new role as a captain, and I could not be more confident that she will excel in this position, and serve as a role model to her teammates both on and off the court. Juliette worked so hard, especially this summer, to earn a Division I scholarship, and I speak for the whole community of Marianapolis, when I say we could not be more proud.”
Bryant University, located in Smithfield, Rhode Island, is a Division I school playing in the Northeast Conference.
